Suwe noted that the same story circulated in 2009 and was false, and then it is now. Another report on the Enquirer Simpson last summer said the fallen football great was getting married in a prison “pen pal” that he had never met.The last story supported OJ was beaten unconscious and spent three weeks in the prison infirmary.
Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was not charged with any crime in the U.S. yet, but he is preparing for the possibility that he will sooner or later – in a statement released via Twitter, on Monday announced that Wikileaks Assange had obtained the assistance of Harvard University law professor Alan Dershowitz.
Dershowitz has been a strong civil liberties advocate for decades – he has represented Alaska Senator Mike Gravel to the Supreme Court in 1972 after Gravel read the Pentagon Papers into the congressional record – but it is also well known TODAY ‘hui for his work as a celebrity lawyer (he represented OJ Simpson, Mike Tyson and Leona Helmsley, among others) and his outspoken defense of Israel. “It’s the Pentagon Papers case for the 21st century,” he said today. “This is a very important test case because it tests the scope of the First and Fourth amendments to the new electronic media. It is the dream of every lawyer to help shape the law, and not just react. ”
