The 85-year-old former president had a bout of air sickness on a flight from Atlanta to Cleveland today. Rescue crews took Carter off the plane and took him to a Cleveland hospital. His grandson says he's "resting comfortably" and is expected to continue his book tour this week.

Joseph Cerniglia had been featured on Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares" TV show, in which he described being overwhelmed with debt. Authorities say the 39-year-old jumped to his death from the George Washington bridge. They've ruled it a suicide.
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A University of Texas professor says a gunman carrying an AK-47 on the Austin campus today had the opportunity to shoot him and several students, but didn't. The man, wearing a ski mask, did fire a number of shots before running into the library. There, he shot himself. Authorities say they believe the gunman was a student at the university and that he had acted alone.
